Built from solid camphor wood, highly valued for its rich grain patterns, warm amber tones, and distinct aromatic fragrance. This natural scent acts as a natural deterrent against moths, making it ideal for textile storage. The chest is completely open to optimize storage space and features a removable, sliding wooden inner tray positioned on the right side for organizing smaller valuables. The front and the top of the lid are framed with continuous, intricately carved foliate or geometric borders. The side panels showcase exposed box or dovetail joints at the corners, highlighting traditional craftsmanship. It rests on shaped bracket feet or carved corner supports that elevate the base off the floor.
