Print depicting soldiers of the Mounted Chasseurs of the Imperial Guard

One of a Set of Four different scenes available. The image provided is a lithographic print depicting soldiers of the Mounted Chasseurs of the Imperial Guard (Chasseurs à cheval de la Garde Impériale) during the Napoleonic era. The text at the bottom of the print confirms the subject: "GARDE IMPERIALE" (Imperial Guard) with smaller text specifying "Régiment de Chasseurs à cheval" (Regiment of Mounted Chasseurs) on the left, and "Timbaliers et Trompettes en grande tenue" (Kettledrummers and Trumpeters in full dress uniform) on the right. This elite light cavalry regiment was a personal favorite of Napoleon Bonaparte, who often wore their distinctive uniform on campaign. 

Some minor chips to frame have been painted in so not visible.
